I initially joined ITPO as a general member in 2022 during my own ITP licensing journey. On top of all the challenges with paperwork, exams, Canadian experience and other requirements, it was very hard to find reliable and non-biased information and advice. Luckily, I discovered ITPO which has been a great source of support and connection with fellow ITPs ever since.

To give back, I joined the Policy, Advocacy and Research Committee, contributing to various projects, first as a volunteer and then as a research manager. I am very proud of the strong data-driven reports that ITPO is producing to advocate for better integration of ITPs all across Canada. I am excited to continue leading this line of work as a Director.

For my fellow ITPs, I hope that all the amazing skills and experiences you bring to Canada are properly recognized through equitable and just licensing pathways. We know that changes to these processes are desperately needed. Please be assured, ITPO is working hard to advocate for you!
