As a dedicated advocate for internationally trained physicians (ITPs), I am committed to creating meaningful change in the integration of highly skilled professionals into the Canadian healthcare system. I hope to focuses on addressing systemic barriers, streamlining pathways to licensure, and ensuring that ITPs receive the support they need to contribute effectively to patient care.

I understand firsthand the challenges faced by internationally trained physicians. I am passionate about building a strong, diverse, and multicultural network of healthcare professionals, advocating for equitable policies, and fostering mentorship opportunities to empower ITPs.

Through my role on the ITPO Board, I aim to bridge gaps between policymakers, healthcare institutions, and internationally trained physicians, ensuring that Canada benefits from the wealth of global medical expertise. By advocating for streamlined processes and fair opportunities, I work towards a healthcare system that fully utilizes the skills and expertise of its diverse medical workforce.
